Check is a nice trend to purchase right now and you can make it fit into your wardrobe if you buy a really versatile design. P.S: Ignore this 'Ghana Must Go' looking check from designer, Celine! LOL. I love it but I'm definitely not imposing it on you. Consider black and white for their versatility but don't restrict yourself. Burgundy, blue and green are also nice options of colour for your check.
Feel free to combine check with check (yes you can), with stripes, with prints and with plain. No worries just make sure you try and take a look to see that your combination is in harmony.
And if you are a tad confused remember that the check mustn't be your clothing. It can be your accessory like a hat, a sunglasses, a wrist watch, a bag or a footwear.
