Red! Dolce and Gabanna, Nina Ricci, Oscar de la renta, Valentino and Marc by Marc Jacobs coloured their models red in suits, dresses and more. Although, Valentino and Oscar usually reveal red like every now and then, so that's not news but trust me red is piping hot this season. Wear red with red if it can work for you or just try black or white. That's quite simple actually.
Cobalt seems to be the colour with the most lasting power this year because of its popularity season after season. That's great news because it goes on every skin colour, stands out without being loud, and works with every neutral in your closet as well. To wear cobalt go with neutrals since they work really well or just try black. I totally love cobalt with black!
Purple is yet another rich colour that's coming to reign right now. We are talking Stella McCartney, Vera Wang, Ellie Saab and Ralph Lauren who smothered the shade with plush velvets. Zac Posen and Vera Wang had more night-time looks with embellished and shimmering dresses. So purple can beautifully go from day to night.
