Three A listers wore white dresses this week. Coincidence? Nope. White is super hot right now!

Kerry Washington  was in a white off-the-shoulder J. Mendel dress with sheer lines, pairing it with a Movado watch and white Christian Louboutin pumps

Emma Watson of Harry Potter was also in a white off-the-shoulder J. Mendel dress with a subtle tiered silver-accented hem. She complemented her look with a white clutch.

Sandra Bullock wasn't left out. She chose a white draped Giambattista Valli dress and completed her look with black-and-white ankle-strap Giuseppe Zanotti stilettos.

The LBD is a modern classic it can take you from morning to evening—and even to the next day—easily. The good thing about the little black dress is that with it there are no rules so you can hardly go wrong.

Here’s how to wear it;

To work. Top it up. Wear a blouse, jacket, waist coat or scarf on it, just to make it look more corporate edgy.

For a casual outing with the girls, go for flats and some casual accessories like your satchel bag, drop necklaces, fun earrings, colourful shades and the likes.

For a dinner, go with your metallic purse and heels and afterwards hit the club with the same dress of course but with very chunky jewellery, layered necklaces, earrings, bangles, bracelets, chain belts, wrist watches and whatever else. Those are hardly too much for that time of the night.
